NFS ProStreet V1.1 Left Click Crash (Windows 7)

Quite a weird, and I mean WEIRD Occurance with a game on PC, so I managed to get a copy of this game, Installed it correctly, It runs smoothly if I only use the keyboard, but there is a problem, MY LEFT CLICK, CRASHES THE GAME, No, I mean seriously the nfs.exe has stopped working issue triggers by pressing the left click, which bothers me since I wanna use my Joypad, but you need to use the left click to configure the joypad, or if I want to customize my car........ IT´S MADNESS.

-Windows 7
-Nvidia GeForce Graphic card (don´t remember the number, but it runs games with high graphics)
-It´s all installed to an external hard drive

Very odd. Can you check the Steam or Origin forums and see if this is a known issue?
