NFS Underground - locked

This might be a silly question, but anyway:

I have installed NFS Underground some month ago, but if I choose QUICK
RACE and e.g. CURCUIT, many of the locations are locked.

I have tried to reinstall the programme, but it's still the same.

Why is that?

You will have to drive Underground to UNlock the tracks
