Question Nh-d15 clearance in a CM h500?

As the title suggest I am in the market to cool my ryzen 5 3600. On noctua's site it says the cooler is 165mm and my case is 167mm in space. Is that 2mm gap going to be enough? Or should I go with the nh-u12a for size. Any other coolers would be highly appreciated! Everything is already working fine, currently on an h100i gtx and looking to replace.

2 mm would just work. Another option would be the d14.

How much of a difference in Temps would there be between the u12A and the 14 if you were to guess? Does the size of the fans matter a lot?

You can look for some reviews for the difference in temps. I would go for the d14.
