NHL 2005 Controller Setup?

Hi Guys,

I just got a Saitek gamepad to play NHL 2005 with. In the game, I can set it
all of the buttons except for 2, the 2 buttons on the analog sticks. The
right stick is the manual deke, so I would like to set it up so that the
right stick's button is manual deke shoot, but I can't get down far enough
to select it. When I push down, it skips over that one and returns to the
top.

Same with the modifer button. Its set to button 5 now, but I want to change
that to button 7 if I can, but it too is skipped over when I try to select
it.

Any ideas?

does your controller have a profile manager, you can edit it from there?

what gamepad is it. I have a P880 profile for 2005

Thats the one I have. I got the profile as well. Trying it out now.

the profile I have is custom made, as the one from the saitek site is not
for the P880 when I tried to insert the profile
