Hello,
I have a really irritating re-occurring problem with my NIC card.
The issue: Occasionally my NIC drops about 50% of all packets, making my internet experience totally unusable. The only way I can return it to normal is a weird combo of power cycling, hard restarting and factory resetting. This problem occurs maybe 35% of the time at boot up.
My troubleshooting: Replaced the router(It's a 90$ investment and I don't really want to switch brands as it's a 6th month old router), swapped cables, cleared every cache I have, screamed at my ISP (They are seeing everything as 100% when I encounter this event), updated every driver connected to my NIC. I even tried rolling back a few versions. Same story.
Thoughts? Throw my router in a river and buy a different brand?
