I'm using an HP Deskjet 3050 J610 all- in - one printer, the problem is that the scanner section is only scanning a full page of colored lines, the image shows up on the computer as a full page of colored lines and prints it exactly like that. What could cause that?

You can try reinstalling the software, but it sounds like the scanner has failed.

If you do a local "COPY" function on the printer, does it come out the same? If yes, scanner is bad.

^+1 Good idea, as long as the device can copy with the PC turned off.
