Nighthawk X6 R8000 Doesnt Connect to Internet

X6 doesn't work, I was getting 30/50, now it doesnt connect at all. Tried reboots, resets, power cycles, nothing works. Backup Verizon Router works, average 85/85 on wired connection. Need a fix asap since Verizon router sucks for wifi, only getting 2/1 on my PC thats on the other side of the house. When the X6 worked perfectly I was getting 75-80/75-80, barely a drop in speed on 5 ghz connection. I bought it March 3, 2015 on Newegg

I would reset the router to factory again before trying this...

Disconnect modem from power and whatever is connecting it to the wall (coax for cable, etc.).
Disconnect power from router.
Let it sit for 2 minutes then plug only the modem back in to power and wall attachment and let it boot up fully, I like to wait up to 5 minutes.
Then plug the router power back in.
Let that boot up and leave it at factory settings and test wireless and wired connections.
If that fails then I'd be thinking the router might be bad.

I figured it out. Set up verizon router as a modem and use the X6 as an access point. Tried to fix the R8000 but I was getting no where.
