Question Nintendo DSI and Wii WFC/Wifi Connector(s)

Hi. I recently got back into playing some of my old games on my DSI, Wii etc... however I do remember that a while ago Nintendo withdrew their USB Wifi Connector due to security issues with it however it uses WEP security unlike my router which uses WPA instead. Are there any USB Wifi Dongles or other ways to connect my DSI to the internet before I change the security settings on my DSI and Wii?

I guess you are going to have to explain better.

From a quick look both those units have a built in wifi card. The documentation says they support both wep and WPA/wpa2.

The older "DS" model seem to have a restriction.

Mostly this just means if you want to do this you need to setup a insecure connection by changing the router to wep or open. If you made sure to not leave this on except when you where using the device you would minimize your risk

Highly unlikely you are going to get a wifi usb device that will work. The device does not have device drivers for it and unlike a pc you can't really install things like that.

Yup, that's what you need to do.
But why do you want internet on these devices anyway?! Their online services are long gone, right?!
