The company said more than 1.1 million copies of the game were sold in the U.S. over five days, which also makes it the fastest-selling Switch title. Nintendo also said it's sold 2.6 million Switch consoles in the U.S. to date.

Mario is undoubtedly Nintendos' best franchise ever!

I think Breath of the Wild is probably one of the best games of all time. I'm a long-time Mario fan as well, with Mario 64 being my favorite. I bought the new Odyssey game and received it a day early. After putting in about 45 minutes, I wasn't super impressed for some reason or another. The controls seemed poor and I wasn't able to enjoy the gameplay because of this. I'm going to try it again without the Pro controller and see if I change my mind about it.

I am dying to play this game (well not literally) and I really want to get a Switch. I think I might pull the trigger on getting one this weekend.

This game has one of the best mid-game levels, and best endings of any game I've ever played. So much fun!

The switch is worth it for Zelda and Mario alone. Mario Kart is also a ton of fun to take on the go.

I have a feeling the switch and the original Wii are going to have alot in common.

I mean if the Wii u had a decent Zelda and a mario game upon release it would have done just as well in sales. Its just way to early to say the switch was a success.
