News Nintendo Switch 2 gets a CT scan that shows off internals layer-by-layer, including a scan of the Nvidia Tegra SoC

I wish there was a console version: no battery, no screen, no controllers, just decent resolution/FR on the tv for a fair price. Or at least a legal emulator for pc.... USBC? pciex4? I don't get WHY sony makes it illegal / impossible to unlink their amazing game IP from the inherent restrictions of the handheld... I spent more $ on games than on the hardware. WHY do they make it not embrace the community which has created amazing mods?
My personal crystal 8-Ball says if S. is not in the middle of a massive culture transition, this was the last switch.

While I enjoyed the OG Switch, I don’t find the Switch 2 attractive. To me, the influence of Nvidia diluted the Nintendo branding. Instead of the key focus on fun first party games, this release seems to be overshadowed by the graphical capabilities, i.e. DLSS, 120Hz display, 4K capabilities, etc. Ultimately, we all know this is not going to be a graphical powerhouse just by looking at the specs and the form factor. The adoption of very expensive storage expansion solution with questionable endurance/ longevity adds to the list of reasons why this is a hard pass for me. Add game prices, I think I won't even consider down the road to be honest. USD 80 bucks for a game, and knowing that 1st party game prices don't drop much is the next biggest hurdle for me.
