On Saturday May 14th, 2005, Nintendo will open it's first World Store at 10
Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.

It will definitely be the place to be if you are a true Nintendo fan!

considering the tiny amount of shelf space that nintendo products get at
most stores.... will nintendoworld just be a counter in the corner of the
food court at that mall?

seriously tho, why bother?

EXACTLY!! - I am hoping this will be the Nintendo store we will all gather
at.

Example: I have a Nintendo DS, but the wireless play is useless unless I
have someone to play with. Perhaps there will be a huge seating arena for
gamers to gather or something.

Perhaps there will be some free giveaways or some other promotional theme
for the day.

Perhaps a place to meet new Nintendo friends. Let's face it, this newsgroup
is so dead when trying to meet some Nintendo fans.

It seems that mostly everyone is either too darn busy with their hectic
lives to bother or they are stunned with their Sony PSP.

I hope not!

I will definately be there to find out.

You never know who you might meet. Perhaps a celebrity might show up or
something.

Let's put it this way, how would you feel if you logged onto this newsgroup
the day after just to *read* about what you missed?

If it's no big deal, I'm on the subway to Coney Island in a jiffy. If it's
cool, I'll hang for a while and maybe buy something if I can find something
worth while.
