[SOLVED] no 1440p option

i dont have the 1440p option, my monitor supports 1440p, my gpu is a ASUS RTX 2080 Ti ROG Strix

it doesnt say 1440p but when i had a rx580 it had the 1440p option
the cable is a displayport, im looking in display settings,
and my second monitor doesnt have the 1440p or the 4k option too from sceptre, HDMI

That's not a 1440p monitor, hence no option. Likely the AMD control center was using virtual super resolution(rendering 1440p but still displaying at 1080p).
