I followed the instructions on this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHoj8bQDjUc

I went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers, then I created a new DWORD (32-bit) value named TdrDelay with an hexadecimal value set to 8.

I did that because windows was crashing Alien Isolation with the message "Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware".

As the solution from the video did not work, I went back and deleted TdrDelay. Now every 3D game crashes. The problem got worse after using D.D.U. and reinstalling the drivers for my GPU. Before, at least I could make the games run a bit before crashing and Alien Isolation actually seemed to work. Now nothing works.

I have not. I also realized that now windows 10 is blocking every application, so that's the new problem. I gotta fix this application blocking thing now. I figure once I do that I can fix everything.

Tried that but not sure I did it correctly. Found nothing. I clicked "Edit", "Find" typed in the name. Nothing came up. The selected folder was the GraphicsDriver one where I created and deleted the file in the first place.

I tried that, didn't work. Then I tried just recreating it with a value set to 8. Seems to have fixed it. Alien Isolation is still crashing though. But this time I'm not getting the application blocked message. Temperatures reached 85°C when it crashed. Might've been the cause, not sure. Gotta test some more games again.
