No (4pin ATX) to run the motherboard?

You split the 8 pin CPU power into 2 - 4 pins and use 1 of the 4 pins.

In fact, some power supplies actually provide an 8-pin EPS that can be split into two 4-pin connectors (see below left,) one of which can be used for the +12V connector.

Thanks haha I tried to split them apart the first time but they were not splitting so I thought they must not split, but after you telling me they do I have had another go and they split! Big Thanks!
