No 8 pin connector

I so I am a new builder and I attached my gpu into my motherboard for a test boot and there are like three 6 slot pin connectors and one of them has like a 6 slot pin with a 2 pin attached. There are also two 4 pin connectors, but they wont seem to attach. I am really confused and probably whatever im saying doesnt make any sense. Please help thnx

I see the other pic.

Your power supply has 2-6+2 PCI-e connectors.

So you use one as an 8, and the other as a 6.

If they don't fit, you have the only non standard system I have ever seen.

Yes that is a completely standard set up.

It is a 8+6.
So you not only need an 8pin, you also need a 6 pin.

2 separate plugs.
If your power supply doesn't have them, an adapter can be had.

Now lets see the power supply plug.
One pic is no good without the other.
