[SOLVED] No acces to Nvidia control panel

Hey all. When I try to open Nvidia control panel, it gives me the error message "A required privilege is not held by the client". I've already done a clean install of the drivers, but that didn't seem to be the issue. I'm pretty clueless, so I need some help for this one.

when you say clean install pf the drivers are you referring to running DDU in safe mode? if you haven't i would download and install DDU and run in safe mode. then go to Nvidia website and either download Geforce experience or specific VGA driver

if you have done this you may have an issue with your GPU, have you tested in another PC?

Run it in administrative mode, otherwise update your GPU. If problem still the same, then clean installation of GPU driver might help, restart is needed in fresh installation. Don't install the drivers after uninstalling without restarting. Otherwise reinstall fresh Windows.
Also make sure some other software is not interfering with your Nvidia Control panel like overclocking software, not so sure.
Did you updated your Windows? May be new update is causing this issue.
If problem exist, then check this GPU with another monitor.
If still exist, then check this GPU in another system.
