No aero, Windows 7

Hi, having a problem here, not much else to explain, gpu: nForce 720m + integrated HD graphics 4000

Your computer will use the integrated graphics for everything but gaming. when a GPU intensive application(Game) comes into play then the big boy will kick in to do work. You can also disable the intergrated graphics and make the nforce your primary if you wish

No luck, screen went out, restarted to 800x600 res, changed to normal now everything is laggy and still no aero theme.

You can test it, download Nvidia control panel, from there you can disable it. you can also get GPUz and check if your card is being recognized, then start a game and see if the usage goes up.

Also sounds like your missing your video driver, check windows update for a video driver

Ok, so the drivers were okay before, I disabled hd graphics through device manager, not through nvidia control panel, then i re enabled it and restarted, not laggy anymore, will look for drivers
