Hi,i got a kingston a400 ssd and I have a problem
In the kingston ssd manager,I can't see the ssd,and I read on the internet that it will work better with ahci mode, but I can't see an option in the bios
And I can't enter bios by shutting down the laptop, just restarting, like pressing the restart button,if not,I can't get into bios
Can I do it without any risk of getting stuck and not being able to enter bios to revert something?
My laptop is a lenovo v110-15isk
The ssd is in the internal sata port, and the hdd is on a caddy
I have 8gb ram too,and legacy boot mode

There should be a drive mode option in the BIOS, for AHCI and ATA or Legacy, and probably RAID. If you change it after Windows is already installed, the drive will not boot, so it's good that you did not find where to change it. Leave it as it is unless the system is working odd.

Thanks for the late, but present response
I managed to do it by registry, had the problem with boot, went into safe mode, fixed it and now it is running in ahci mode,it's faster
And I have nothing in bios
