Hi, I am trying to overclock my x3430, and my motherboard doesn't seem to have an AI Tweaker tab. I have tried looking online for a bios update and have found https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P7H55M/HelpDesk_BIOS/

I have tried the latest one and it is incompatible. I am currently on 0302.

That's a different board. He has the Plus version. It's a different bios. My p8z77-v LE bios looks slightly different to the p8z77-v Pro, or p8z77-v K. Just because they are the same model line does not mean they have the exact same bios, in fact they are often different, which is why it's so important to get an exact bios when flashing for your mobo. The links provided above were for a p7H55m not for a plus. Would explain the incompatability and any issues

There's an advanced tab, but no, no advanced setting for the motherboard.

The specifications for the P7H55-M motherboard do list "Overclocking Features".

Precision Tweaker
- vCore: Adjustable CPU voltage at 0.00625V increment
- vIMC: Adjustable IMC voltage at 0.00625V increment
- vDRAM Bus: Adjustable DRAM voltage at 0.015V increment
- vPCH: Adjustable PCH voltage at 0.00625V increment
- vCPU_PLL: Adjustable CPU_PLL voltage at 0.05V increment
- iGPU: Adjustable iGPU voltage at 0.00625V increment
SFS (Stepless Frequency Selection)
- Internal Base Clock tuning from 80MHz up to 500MHz at 1MHz increment
- PCI Express frequency tuning from 100MHz up to 200MHz at 1MHz increment (only for Lynnfield CPU)
Overclocking Protection:
- ASUS C.P.R.(CPU Parameter Recall)

Try looking for "Precision Tweaker" instead. That is the term used in the motherboard specifications.

nope, none of the sort

this guy appears to have the same issue, the picture of his bios is exactly what mine looks like. in amibcp it shows that ai tweaker is there

This is not multiplier OC. It's BCLK OC, which changes everything from the hdd to ram to pcie buss. Because of the issues this created, it was dropped in favor of a multiplier OC which affected just the cpu. So you won't get the Ai Tweaker tab, it wasn't out yet, most of the OC will be done via BCLK with adjustments available to IMC, ram, vcore etc.

Right, the Clarksdale and Lynnfield processors were before the Sandy Bridge processors came out. And those were the first to use the K processors with the multiplier overclocking.

I really don't miss the old style of BIOS. They were a pain to find what you needed.

That is what the Asus BIOS looked like before the UEFI BIOS came out. The last BIOS update for the motherboard came out in 2011.
