No arrow for processor on mobo

Hi. I have a p5vdc-x by asus and it doesnt seem to have an arrow or atleast i dont see it, to put in a processor. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

One of the corners on the Cpu and socket will be "cut-off". Just line those up and you'll be fine.

they are not arrows per say but gold triangles. Here look at this if you don't have it.

You should be able to see two grooves on your CPU, two 'c' shaped groves. line those up with the grooves on the motherboard.

The grooves will be parallel to one another

x is where your triangle should have been.

looks to me like it would be corner 1 as labeled in your pic. The corner pointing to the lock bar. Seems corner 4 & 2 are notched.
