No audio after having TV hooked up to laptop via hdmi

Help please. I had my laptop plugged in to the hdmi on my seiki tv.... after our movie was done I watched the satellite for a while and it worked fine. I turned the TV off and went to bed. When I woke up sound was not working when watching with satellite. Everything is plugged in right. I've unplugged the computer. The sound still works when using the DVD player only. Everything seems to be plugged in properly.... none of the other cords were touched. I don't get it

No worries I just figured it out but wanted to share in case anyone else has this problem.... I had to unplug power to everything, unplug cords to satellite, DVD player etc. Turn power on to tv with everything else unplugged.... Turn power off, plug everything back in and then turn it all back on again.... and voila! Sound!
