no audio after install of 1080ti???

So i installed my 1080ti today and once i booted i had no sound? i've reinstalled sound and graphic drivers many times and i've been trying to find a fix for 5 hours now with no luck any help would be appreciated.

specs:
I7-5820k
16gb ram
gtx 1080ti
850w psu
win 10

Have you checked to make sure the default audio device is correct?

That card has an audio output via HDMI/Displayport. Sometimes the computer sets it as the default device when you change GPUs.

this is all i get. i used to have realtek stuff but now i only get blasterx acoustic engine?

Did you have a Creative Sound Blaster at any point? Also, right click and enable "Show disabled devices" and "Show disconnected devices".

UPDATE: If you don't have a Sound Blaster, uninstall the Sound Blaster drivers.

yes i have soundblasters. but theses are all i have? any idea what happened to the realtak?

If you have a Sound Blaster, why are you trying to use a Realtek?

Also, it is weird that the Realtek devices are gone. You might be able to get them back by physically removing all of the Creative devices. If they still aren't there, also uninstall the Creative drivers.

pre 1080ti i had the realtek drivers and it worked but im not sure that changed
