hi'
i installed xp/sp1 on th gigabyte ga-8i915p board and cant get any
voice from my speakers. not even system voice.
allways get the message "no audio hardware is available ".
pls hlp

More info please. Are you using on-board sound or an add-in card? If
on-board, is it enabled in BIOS?

If you're like me you'll just chuck in a sound card. I couldn't get it going
either.
There is nowhere in bios to turn it on.
It isn't even listed in Device manager.
Do you get a device with a fault listed?
Not sure if it's the sound or not. Says it's a PCI device? Even MS couldn't
find a driver for it.
Just whack a sound card in it.
