I have some great home movies my boys made while playing with the webcam.

I specifically remember there being audio attached but now, a few years later, there is no audio whenever I play it.

I've used all the Windows programs to play it.
I've download VLC and attempted to play it.
I've installed Quicktime - still no audio.

Do other videos play with audio on your computer? If they do, try downloading K-Lite codec pack (mega version), install it default everything. I also noticed that your audio is mono (1 channel) that is also sometimes a problem, you could try mixing that into 2 channels.

Other videos do play with sound. I did install the K-Lite codec pack...no go.

So, if media info says there's sound shouldn't I at least be able to extract it or anything to test that it's there?
