No audio on skype

Hello,
what headset sound card is required for skype. I have windows 7

Any sound solution with a headphone jack should work fine. You may need to set the headphone/direct sound to communications default or select it in skype and go through the audio setup.

I'm not aware of skype being picky due to sound card or rather haven't heard the issue before. If you have sound in everything else fine it is probably just a matter of voice setup in skype or selecting the correct device in the windows sound settings.

If perhaps your headphones jack is broken on your laptop/sound card then you could always get a USB headset, then R click on lower right of computer sound icon recording devices and set it to default.
