No Audio Output Device is installed

So I recently did I fresh install of windows vista, and since then I have tried to get my speakers to work with no success, i download the realtek audio driver and it did nothing and in my device manager I have no sound/game controller options?

Help?

Download the missing sound & graphics Vista drivers from your PC or laptop maker's website.

If you downloaded the Realtek driver from some website other than your PC manufacturer's website, that's why it doesn't work. Only the PC maker has the correct drivers.
