[SOLVED] No audio output through Asrock MB

Ever since installing a new MB and CPU I have not been able to get any sort of audio output through rear or front headphone ports. I have tried everything from drivers,settings, or many different pairs of headphones and have looked on forums for hours with no solution. I have the ASrock B350M and as far as I know nothing on the MB is fried... I have reinstalled driver about 3 times so please don't tell me about drivers. When I do plug in headphones I can hear a faint ringing and possibly the faintest amount of audio actually coming through. Audio seems to work but extremely poorly through an exterior sound card but that's all that has worked. Thanks for any help!

Did you use external sound card or onboard sound card? Usually onboard sound card is crap especially from cheap motherboard.

you updated MB and CPU correct? you need to reinstall windows with the new hardware to avoid problems like this
