So it's basically a monitor with a tuner, best way would be to use it as such - you can get an HDMI switchbox like this that splits out the digital audio into optical and RCA digital outputs as well as analog 3.5mm L/R output.

This way you can use your Roku, Chromecast, Android box, PC or anything that has an HDMI out to your TV and send the audio to your AVR or soundbar via the digital or analog out.
