Question No Audio playback devices show up after updating to Windows 7

Hello, so 2 days ago I gave my PC running Windows xp to a technician, who basically backed up my data, formatted the pc & installed Win7 Pro on it. Audio used to work fine before, But since then I cant play any audio on it. On any port. Niether from my headphones or speakers . Please help.

If this is a prebuilt system, please pass on teh SKU as well as the make and model of the prebuilt. If a laptop, same story as asked for the prebuilt system.

Sounds like your tech didn't install the audio drivers.

Its an old pc the most i was able to find was

Sounds like your tech didn't install the audio drivers.

Drivers do show up, I tried uninstalling & reinstalling, & updating also but nothing worked.
