No audio through HDMI

I have connected my tv to pc through a HDMI cable. Everything is fine except audio. Its connected to the vga (gtx 1070 ). Both motherboard and vga drivers are up to date. Any advice?

Assuming you installed all parts of the GeForce driver, including the HD Audio Driver part of it, you also need to enable Nvidia High Definition Audio as your default sound device in your Windows sound panel.
