no audio when i use AUX.

Ryzen 3, MSI B350M gaming pro, MSI GTX 1050ti

i built this PC 3 days ago and was using a monitor with built in speakers and now i've purchased a new monitor with HDMI connect and no speakers im realizing i don't have audio from my AUX jacks. ive updated the HD audio drivers and mine are showing up as NVIDIA HD audio and NVIDIA virtual audio device. ive tried to download realtek HD audio and no matter how many times i download it wont show up anywhere. i dont know if i use NVIDIA or realtek.

when i right click the speakers icon on my tab bar and click "playback devices" nothing shows up. i have uninstalled the NVIDIA HD audio drivers and reset my PC to no avail. ive typed in weird command prompts in the command center that i read worked for a bunch of people but that didnt work for me either. any suggestions are welcome i just dont know what else to do. ive googled this issue all night and feel like every where i look others problems are solved by simple steps but no matter how many different remedies i try they all fail for me.

problem solved. reset windows then bios and everything worked.
