Yesterday morning I tried to install a GTX 970 gpu. After my computer failed to boot, I removed it and the computer turned on no problem. Eventually I noticed I was getting no audio, and my headphones were making a faint ringing noise (I tried my earbuds as well, same issue). I can't find anyone with the same issue anywhere, and all my attempts to fix this have been unfruitful.

It's customary to include your full system's specs in a thread of troubleshooting nature. Please list them like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

How old is your PSU? Might also want to include the make and models of the headsets you've used to rule out faulty audio output.
