So I just built my new PC and I don't have audio with my front and rear I/O jacks. All of my drivers are up to date.

CPU: i7-4790K
Mobo: MSI Z97S Krait Edition
GPU: Evga 970
Case: NZXT S340

Hello again -Hvick-

In that case, I would suggest you to take the motherboard to your nearest authorized service center and get it checked for any hardware related issues.

Since your PC is new and I assume that the MB is still in its warranty period, they should check it and provide you with the best possible solution.

Cheers!! :)
Hello -Hvick-

I was wondering if you already tried:

> Right-clicking the Speaker icon from the system tray.

> Going to Playback devices.

> Selecting the audio output device from the list and configuring it manually.

Also, sometimes the older version of the device drivers work more efficiently as compared to the latest ones. You may want to give that a try as well.

However, before digging into the configuration stuff, if possible, please try using a different audio output device, such as a different headphone or speaker system.

Feel free to report back if further assistance is needed.

Cheers!! :)

Hi viveknayyar007

I have tried rolling back the drivers, configuring the audio manually, and I have used a few different speakers and headsets. But still nothing 🙁. I even tried unplugging the front panel HD audio connector and nothing either.

Hello again -Hvick-

Can you please confirm if the microphone jacks are working fine, i.e. are you able to record your voice?

You can try this:

> Type Find and fix audio playback problems in the Cortana search bar.

> Click the Find and fix audio playback problems link that comes up.

> Follow the on-screen instructions from there to let Windows 10 troubleshoot the issues automatically.

If this doesn't work, removing the audio driver, restarting the computer, and letting Windows 10 to use the standard driver from its driver database may help you assess if the motherboard is not faulty.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!! :)
