no audio when I hook computer to tv with hdmi

Right click on volume Icon, lower right taskbar, select volume control options, change from "speakers" to "HDMI Output". You will have to change it back when you want sound back to your speakers.

had this problem a few days ago, make sure hdmi is your default audio device in control panel, and also make sure your audio drivers are up to date. fixed it for me
