NO AUDIO WITH SPDIF CABLE NVIDIA GTX260 (HDMI)

Hello, I've problem with spdif cable. I don't manage to hear audio from TV with DVI>HDMI filter and HDMI-HDMI cable. I've got an ASUS STRIKER II NSE mobo and a nvidia gtx 260. Please help me!

Even if I set SPDIF as default device it doesen't work.

I' ve only 2 devices and they are the speakers and the spdif device

no, I've a syncMaster 2043aw samsung as monitor and a samsung 32 as TV. The speakers are apart
