When I insert my GTX 1050ti GPU in my pc, all fans work, the CPU fan, the GPU fan, 1 external fan. everything works just fine but pc does not boot. there's no single beep that comes when booting. When I remove the GPU and insert one spare GPU I found (GT 630) Everything runs just fine. PC boots up, there's display. All Good.
When I try to start up with my GTX 1050 Ti, It doesn't even boot up.
If I'm Correct the GTX 1050ti and GT 630 Power Consumption is somewhat similar. I have a 450W PSU (iBall)
What can be the fault? Is my GPU Faulty. It first time I'm plugging it in.

My PC Specs -
AMD FX 6300
8GB DDR3 1333 MHz Ram
1 TB HDD Seagate
450 W iBall PSU
VGA Monitor Dell
gigabyte ga-78lmt-s2pt Mobo

Please Help. :D :D
Thank You.

Some 1050ti model cards dont have power connectors (like this one), power from PCI-E slot (75w i think). Im hesitant to say it but sounds like your PSU might be a bit weak for your new setup. Im assumign the "other" GPU" you plug in to test is a much older model that has a smaller power draw ? Can you get your hands on a 550W+ PSU to test before you purchase :?

Not that it makes much of a difference but your motherboard only supports PCI-E 2.0 which means it runs at x8 and not x16

EDIT: Did a little additional reading and im 90% sure your PSU is the culprit mate, need min 550W but suggest 650W if you can scrape the cash, not worth risking on a cheap PSU either !!!

Sorry for being so late but i checked that card with CM 550 W PSU and got the same problem so i thought my gpu is bad so i replaced it and got a new one. Same is happening with this too.

What could be the problem?

I have removed all the previous drivers installed. Updated the bios.
:(

Sorry mate, i have been MIA from the boards for a few weeks. So we have eliminated the PSU and the PCI-E slot (for a low end card). Next process of elimination would be to test the 1050ti in another system (on another motherboard). I worried that the motherboard PCI-E slot isnt supplying enough power to the card. A 1050ti without a direct connection to the PSU requires all of the 75W available from the motherboard PCI-E slot. This creates the possibility that a GT630 which typically requires only 65W may work but a 1050ti may not.

Can you test the card in another system ?
