I have recently bought the parts to make a new PC after my older PC's motherboard and Cpu died.

New PC Specs:
Antec TruePower New 750W Modular PSU,
Corsair 120GB Force 3 SSD 2.5" SATA-III 6Gb/s Read = 550MB/s, Write = 510MB/s,
AMD FX-6 6100 Black Edition 6 Core 3.3Ghz Socket AM3+ 8MB L3 Cache Retail Boxed Processor,
XFX HD 6870 900MHz 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI Dual Mini DisplayPort HDMI PCI-E Graphics Card,
Asus M5A97 PRO 970 Socket AM3+ 8 Channel HD Audio ATX Motherboard,
Corsair 8GB (2X4GB) DDR3 1866Mhz Red Vengeance Memory Kit CL9 1.5V,

Upon putting it all together, the green LED on the motherboard will turn on when on standby, it will turn on, but there's no response, no beeps nothing on screen. However it then will not respond and won't turn off. I then found the post about having to update the BIOs on the motherboard before it will be compatable with my CPU. To do this and test the parts I changed the processor with the work PC downstair's processor(AM3 AMD Athalon(tm) II X4 640) and a single stick of 2gb 1600 ram which work perfectly on the downstairs pc, cleared the CMOS by switching he jumper position and removing the battery before replacing them. This gave the exact same results however it also would not Boot or get to the bios, make any beeps or display anything with the older processor listed above either.
