I have a Dell inspiron 7737. It is x64 and running windows 8.1. It boots up fine and runs fine. But at the BIOS screen (the one that pops up for 1-2 seconds) I can not access the BIOS menu, or select boot device settings. I have tried ALL Bios keys. (F2, f10, f12, del, TAB, ESC, Space, Enter) and still nothing. The text turns from grey to white when i push f12 (proving it is recognizing the key push) But then it just boots regularly.

Tyler,

Just go to the Dell website and support section, input the service tag number on the base of the laptop.
Download the manual for the laptop and it will tell you what key combination to press to enter the bios of the laptop.

It is not always a case of just pressing a single key on the keyboard while powering the laptop on.

In some cases the Fn key needs to be held down at the same time as another key is pressed or the Ctrl key and another key pressed.

It will detail in the manual the exact process.
