Question There is no Bluetooth audio option ?

I have updated Windows10 and my drivers for audio and Bluetooth but cannot get an option to play music to my bt speakers or headset. I bought a bt dongle with an antenna but because it was generic, i thought that there was a compatibility or driver issue, but after buying and trying a tp-link unit, i still cannot get an option to play music from my pc to a bt device. I can connect devices to my pc, i have successfully sent and received a photos from my pc to my phone, but no matter what I do I there is no drop down option to play to other devices. what am i missing so that i can play music wirelessly?

Type Control Panel in Start, then open Sound Manager and set the default audio device to your Bluetooth device.

there is no output option apart from speakers/headphones

A lot of time it depends on the playback software. For example, if you use Google Chrome to access a radio station, you'll see a little musical symbol near the top right hand corner of the address bar. If you click on the 3 dots at the right edge of the screen to open options menu, you'll see an option to Cast whatever your browser if playing to an available device.

Reinstalled Windows10, fixed. Ran Windows10 Debloater, broken again.
Reinstalling Windows 10 again and will uninstall bloatware one by one and manually.
