No boot and POST Code 88 on DFI x58

Hi, so im building a budget second hand rig and after purchasing my MB i tried to boot the pc, after starting up, the fans, the cpu fan started running but no video, after looking on my motherboard, the LED display says code 88, what can i do to remove it because the mb is second hand ?

Motherboard: DFI LanParty X58 T3EH6
CPU : Intel Core i7-920
RAM : Corsair Vengeance 8GB (1 Stick)
PSU : CoolerMaster B700 v2
GPU : Palit 9500GT (prior to change)
Cooler : Stock Intel Extreme (the big one)

My first guess is the DRAM, X58 was designed to support 4GB sticks, you show an 8 GB stick

so should i return it to the seller or want for the shop to change my ram to 2x4gb Kingston HyperX Beast?

With X58 would look for compatible 2x4GB, if the 8GB stick was bought at a shop and they said it's compatible, wouldn't have a lot of faith in them

actually i bought it because it was on promotion while waiting for the MB and i can return the ram and pay to get the Kingston HyperX Beast one
