Hello,

It's my first build, and I finished hooking everything up, and then I plugged the display and pc in,
And there is the screen of death!

" No signal detected "

Btw I tried plugging both of them using HDMI, DisplayPort, on my motherboard,
I even tried DVI-D option on another monitor and still it won't show a darn signal!

I tried the display on my laptop HDMI and it worked perfectly.

I got a qcode (53)
I tried:

1- trying each ram dimm on each slot alone.

2- removing the ram completely and still the shows the code (53).

I tried re-seating my CPU and adjusting the CPU cooler screw not to tight. :(checked for bent pins, there were none).

and I can't use my keyboard or mouse plugged into the motherboard nor the display.

SPECS:()

CPU: i7 - 8700K

CPU COOLER: NH-D15

GPU: GTX 1080 TI EVGA SC2

MOBO: Maximus X Hero ( AC WIFI )

RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 3200MHZ 2x8 ( 16 GB ).

PSU: EVGA SUPERNOVA G2 750watt

DISPLAY: XL 2546.

Thanks In-advance for any answers,

Any feedback is appreciated!

You might go into the BIOS and make sure that the MB is not using integrated graphics.

Hello Pcsohard,

I might be wrong on this...sounds like you have a dead GPU.

Does your GPU receive power?
Maybe your PSU has a bad PCI express cable. Try changing out the cable and try a different PCI E slot on your PSU.
Edit: I believe your GPU has 2 8 PIN power connectors. Try moving the cables on a different PCI E modular slot on the PSU.

If that doesnt work, see if your GPU is seated correctly.

Hello sorry for the late response! I tried breadboarding my build with the motherboard + CPU + CPU cooler + RAM + PSU
And still it won't work!
Should I RMA my mobo or my other stuff?

I managed to To get by and enter the bios by Changing the pin from CPU opt to CPU fan, and the code still on but it's better then before, will update you next time when I hook everything back!

First I used the HDMI on the motherboard and it worked, so then I hooked up my GPU and I used the DisplayPort and it worked, because I'm not sure if the hdmi was properly connected but it wasn't showing a signal so I switched to DisplayPort and it worked! Want me to test anything on it before I hook it up?
