No boot on new build

Geforce 990 fx/a mobo, amd phenom2 black ed. 965, 8 gig corsair vengeance ram, liteon dvd via sata, 500 gb sata hd, corsair 750 watt psu, geforce 550 ti, cooler master hyper 212 cpu cooler.
all fans r coming on except the cpu fan, and not even bios coming on.
Any suggestions?

Did you plug in the right connectors?

Did you plug in both the 24 pin and the 4 pin connectors? Looks lie it also requires the 8 pin power cannector.

The 24 pin and the 8 pin atx r plugged in. the 8 pin is actually two four pin connectors. i trusted the plug alignment of the psu. perhaps they r switched

According to the specs:

4 x USB 2.0 headers
4 pins CPU PWM Fan connectors
3 Pin Chassis Fan connectors
24-pin ATX Power connector
8-pin ATX 12V Power connector
Control (Front) panel headers
4-pin ATX 12V Power connector

Everything is connected as i have re plugged the cables, reseated the ram, reseated cpu and gpu. still nothing out of cpu cooler or post. all other fans r working, even gpu. is is possible mobo is bad?

Well i think i know the problem. the cpu is not fully seating in the socket, and wont lock in. i had some bent pins, but they all look straight, but im still getting no lock. thank you all for your helpWeell i
