Hi, so I have an SSD out my laptop with all my data and windows on, and I wanted to utilise a desktop I have, however it's very slow on the harddrive so thought I'd just pop my SSD in and boot from that...
Well I'm not sure if I'm stupid for thinking to works like that but doesn't it? Haha. So I plug new SSD in and go bios, find boot option #1 and look for SSD.. well it's not there, however on the next tab system info it clearly shows the 128gb SSD I want to boot from.. so why isn't it available in boot options? Driving me nuts! Tried switching data ports, unpugging other hard drive, then it just boots to efi mode or something and shows black screen with lots of writing (trying the diff boot options I guess)
Any help would be massively appreachiate
Thanks in advanced..
