"No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key" This is the error im getting when starting up a pc I built from old parts. Im using a HDD with Windows 10 on it and I know that it works cause I tested it on my main pc and it booted fine. So am I getting this error because this old rig cant run Windows 10? I know that it had XP on it prevously and ran fine. So far ive tried to fix it by pretty much trying every option in the BIOS boot settings but still get the same error (also the HDD does show up in the BIOS). Any suggestions on what to do next? Thanks in advance!
pc specs:
intel core 2 E4300
Some old motherboard I think from 2006
3GB ram
7300gt graphics card

If the HDD is something that was carried over from an older machine or a machine with different list of parts, then you're going to have to reinstall the OS from scratch.

Also, Please include/list your specs like so:

OS: version(since you were on Windows 10)
