Hi there, I have an Acer laptop that I have installed a new hard drive. I can't get the computer to boot. I have downloaded AVG Rescue CD and don't know which option to choose can someone please help.

The new HDD is probably blank you need to use your recovery media to reinstall the OS.

New drive = no OS = you're seeing exactly what is expected.

Install an OS.
