Hey!
I've been running into this problem where my computer(Alienware Mx14), whenever I turn it on, it brings me to a black screen with the error message,

check cable connection, no boot device found. Press any key to reboot.

I then reboot and it just takes me to the same screen. Sometimes it takes me to my desktop but only for a few minutes,
I've seen people say to manually put the windows disk in and reinstall, but my computer came pre booted with Windows, so I have no disk.
I also have a disk inside, and if anyone has this laptop, you know there's no button to eject, you do it from the desktop.
I'm 100% fine with wiping the hard drive.
I am also unable to get to the f8 screen while launching.
I lm really hoping someone here can fix this problem.

Seriously? No eject button on the optical drive? I find that really hard to believe. Who would design such a thing? All optical drives I've seen at least have a pinhole to manually open the tray.
But to your issue... Any chance of getting into safe mode?

hmm... The eject button is on the keyboard
And yeah, it is not using the disc tray btw 😵
