So, I just bought a 690, but I only have Hdmi and VGA. I m too lazy to go to the store for a dvi cable which is as good as an HDMI. Can I use the full GPU s potential while being connected to the monitor through the mobo? I do have I GPU multi monitor setting turned on, but when I set the 690 as the main pc gpu, it doesn t display through mbo. Any ideeas? Thanks in advance for answers <3

Guys, the Geforce 690 only have DVI or Display port out. He doesn't own nay of these cables.

No there is no way to fee the power of the video card through the onboard video and use the GPS for processing. You need to plug to the video card. DIV or Display port cable required.
It depends on the motherboard BIOS/UEFI, so have a look at it's graphics options.

Some support "iGPU + PEG" simultaneously, but many only support using one or the other.

You shouldn't need such support in the BIOS anyway - you can connect both monitors to the GTX 690 provided you have the required output cables for both monitors.
