I tried to play Command & Conquer Tiberium Wars yesterday, and got the message, "no CD/DVD-Rom found" I tried finding in device manager, and it wasn't there. I'v played this game a lot, and suddenly, CD-ROM is gone.

also like a game that has 3 or so CD's only one is a play cd make sure you used it and not one of the rest .. [most times you got to use disk ''1'' ] anyway should state on the correct CD what is the play CD..

There is no CD/DVD-ROM driver. It disappeared. It's not the disk.
cause if its saying ''drivers''' not drive then you must got corrupted OS cause the optical drives use standard built in to windows generic driver to operate them nothing aftermarket or fancy ?? basic device
