No connection from router to powerline

I'm using Dlink AV500 powerline adapter and I tried hooking it up to the new router I got after switching to a new ISP. When I ran Ethernet connection from my router to powerline adapter, it wouldn't even make a connection. Powerline adapter was working perfectly fine until now and I can't seem to figure out why it's not getting any sort of connection from the router. The router works fine for wifi and a direct wired connection to one of the computers I'm using. Please help

Check the config of the powerline adaptor, it may need configured to see the new router you got from your ISP

firmware of the adaptors are up to date?
