No connection to wifi

I can't connect my tablet to wifi, it has just stopped. Checked my iPad and that is ok. When switching on wifi, it try's to connect then it just switches off. Please help.

Look in setting, and find your WIFI tab. Check to ensure it set to ON

I have tried switching on the wifi tab, but it states it is turning on, but then suddenly it switches off.

With the Wifi turned on in settings does the tablet scan for available connections? If it does can you see your router, and is it trying to connect to it? If it is trying to connect but fails
Is the password you are using the right one?
Are you on the fringes or out of the broadcast area for your router.
